Applying for Membership

Step 1: To register, you will need an NTRP rating. (Note: this link opens in a new window. If your browser blocks popup windows, use this link.) The NTRP rating is the United States Tennis Association's self-rating system for tennis players, which enables players to match up with others of more or less the same playing ability.

Section 1. Answers to numbered questions 1-11 will make up your tennis profile, available to other members. Your email address (question 12) will not be part of your tennis profile.

2. Enter the first letter of your last name in the space below (required). Your username will be your first name if it is not in use, or your first name plus the first letter of your last name, if unique, or as a last resort your first name plus a number, such as John5.

9. Enter below the city (one only) that is your preferred playing location. If Chicago, you can narrow it down, e.g., "Chicago NE." Enter "anywhere" if you'll play anywhere in the Chicago area. (required, maximum length 20 characters).

10. Enter below any comments you might want to add. You can include social media such as your Facebook page, Twitter, URLs to your personal or business websites or URLs to pictures of yourself, etc.
